Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barry Ridgewood (ranked 4386 p4p, 22091 weight class) and Jimmy Knapp (ranked 491 p4p, 652 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridgewood on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Knapp. Knapp obviously looking to wear him down.
Jimmy Knapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ridgewood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knapp moves away.
That kick from Knapp tenderised Ridgewood's leg. Ridgewood is trying to keep his angry face on.
A nice inside leg kick there by Knapp. That's going to slow Ridgewood down.
Knapp moves away from the strike by Ridgewood.
Knapp uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ridgewood has time to react.

Ridgewood has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Knapp.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ridgewood with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Knapp to score with a decent uppercut.

Ridgewood throws a looping overhand right but Knapp ducks down to avoid it.

Ridgewood looks up at the clock. Bad move! Knapp lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ridgewood. Knapp pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
