Malevolente comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Conquer all kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Malevolente is fending him off so far but Nogueira persists. Nope, Malevolente circles away and we're back to standing.
Malevolente looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nogueira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Malevolente but Malevolente pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lucen Malevolente seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nogueira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Malevolente as he jumps to the side.

Malevolente does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nogueira blocks a head kick by Malevolente .

Malevolente bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nogueira tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Nogueira is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Nogueira works his way to full guard. Good work.

Nogueira pushes a forearm under Malevolente 's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Malevolente is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
