Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mfer looks to score with a jab to the body but Kuroda is just out of range.
Kuroda's coach down at EFC Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kuroda's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Mfer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kuroda was well out of range. Poor timing from Mfer.

Mfer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kuroda has time to react.

Kuroda closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
What's Mfer going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Kuroda has hold of Mfer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mfer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kuroda cranks the arm and Mfer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mfer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
