Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Silva (ranked 1804 p4p, 1156 weight class) and Randy Randleman (ranked 263 p4p, 176 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Randleman's choice of entrance music: Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch. Randy Randleman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a left hand
and Randleman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Randleman gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Silva.
Silva swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Randleman counters with a left to the body.
Randleman throws a body kick that misses.
Silva throws a body shot but no joy.
Silva moves out of range as Randleman strikes.

Silva takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Silva scores with a hook to the body. Randleman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Oooooh!!! Randleman has knocked Silva down with a huge combo! Randleman steps away and waves a wobbly Silva back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Alex Silva has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Randleman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Randleman cracks Silva with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Randleman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Randleman ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Randleman was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Randleman was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Silva avoids a kick to the body.
Silva takes a swing at Randleman's ribcage but misses.
Randleman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Randleman looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.

Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Randleman throws Silva to one side and escapes!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Randleman swivels and escapes.
Silva lands with a shot to the body.
Randleman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Randleman misses with an uppercut. Silva saw that one coming.
Silva is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Randleman misses with a low kick.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silva throws a predictable looking body shot
and Randleman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking.

Randleman connects with an inside leg kick.
Silva throws a hook but Randleman avoids it easily.

and Randleman counters with a nice uppercut.

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Randleman has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Silva is on him like a limpet, forcing Randleman back against the cage.

Randleman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

enabling Randleman to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Randleman was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.

Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Randleman moves away.
Randleman loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch.
Silva throws a shot from downtown. Randleman moves away and avoids it.
Silva misses with an uppercut
and Randleman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Randleman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Randleman throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Silva pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Silva swings away with a body shot that misses
and Randleman counters with a big left hand that crumples Silva! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

A very excited looking Randy Randleman rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
