Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Brown (ranked 3450 p4p, 6716 weight class) and Cairo Silva (ranked 461 p4p, 724 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 53 - 5, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Cairo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Brown.
A bone on bone clash there as Silva blocks the leg kick.
Brown throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
A low kick from Brown is predictable there
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like John Brown has been cut.
Brown throws a push kick but Silva slaps the foot to one side.
Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brown.
Silva misses with an attempted mid kick.
A jab from Silva misses.
It looked like Brown wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Brown takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Silva fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Silva takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
The fighters circling - Silva throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A little feinted left hand from Brown on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Silva misses with a looping left.
Silva scores with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Brown throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva scores with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Brown throws a sloppy head kick
and Silva counters by clinching up.
Silva pushes Brown back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Brown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Silva wants to slow Brown down by chopping away at his legs.
Brown keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silva.
Silva bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Silva with a nice cross.
Brown is rocked!
Silva scores with a kick to the body.
Brown throws a low kick but Silva avoids it.
Silva misses with a wild body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown tries to land a leg kick but Silva saw it coming and moves away.
Brown slips under a jab.
Brown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brown throws a right hand that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brown is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Brown tries to score with a low kick but Silva moves his leg out of the way.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Silva lands a knee to the body.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Silva makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Silva creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Brown.
Silva has a couple of punches blocked by Brown.
Brown blocks an uppercut.
Silva misses with some punches.
Silva has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Brown - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Silva, and another! Brown is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Cairo Silva!
