Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Cubbedge (ranked 2167 p4p, 3777 weight class) and Luke Glanton (ranked 320 p4p, 513 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Cubbedge !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Glanton!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glanton lands a jab.
Cubbedge scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Glanton throws an overhand right that lands on Cubbedge 's shoulder, as Cubbedge tries to avoid the shot.
Cubbedge showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Glanton.
Glanton tries to keep at a distance but Cubbedge has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cubbedge gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Cubbedge is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Cubbedge passes Glanton's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Glanton is not content to let Cubbedge control the position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cubbedge in particular looking to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cubbedge seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Cubbedge seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Glanton for as long as he can get away with.
Cubbedge is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Glanton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cubbedge .
Glanton wants to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cubbedge lands a nice short elbow.
Still in half guard, Cubbedge seems content to control.
Glanton felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Cubbedge wants to lay and pray for a moment but Glanton keeps working.
Cubbedge is looking for a kimura but Glanton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cubbedge to get the leverage.
Cubbedge moves nicely into side control.
You can see the frustration on Glanton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cubbedge has an Americana. Glanton didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cubbedge is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cubbedge hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
