The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Goldberg.
Goldberg shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck for Goldberg with that takedown attempt.
Azor Ahai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Goldberg.
Ahai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ahai rushes Goldberg and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ahai wants to stall.

Ahai throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Goldbergs head.
Ahai is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Goldberg is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ahai gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Ahai lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Ahai explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Goldberg drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Ahai uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Ahai dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Goldberg. That did some damage!
Ahai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Goldberg.
Ahai stuffs the takedown attempt from Goldberg. Goldberg gets slowly back to his feet.
Goldberg walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Goldberg shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ahai as he avoids it easily.
Ahai bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Goldberg's head.

Goldberg is rocked!
Ahai wobbles Goldberg with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Ahai dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Goldberg to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
