Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitsugu Takeishi (ranked 1519 p4p, 3702 weight class) and Dodong Santiago (ranked 52 p4p, 35 weight class). Takeishi comes to the cage accompanied by Kabuki Gomen-Jyo. Santiago has chosen i just want it all as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeishi cracks Santiago with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Santiago throws a jab when Takeishi was well out of range.
We've been told by Takeishi's head coaches at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Takeishi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Takeishi cracks Santiago with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Takeishi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Santiago to stand back up!

Takeishi drops Santiago with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Santiago looks back up at him and smiles so Takeishi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
