The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Baker throws a front kick aimed at Silva's knee but Silva avoids it well.
Silva looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Baker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.

Baker takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A left and a right from Silva both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Jose Baker has been cut.
Baker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Silva counters with a straight right hand.

Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.

and Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Baker dives in for a single leg takedown but Silva sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
