The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Eliza Hachem and Darius Henderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with the combination.
Pimpalaitis is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pimpalaitis drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jones defends it well.
Jack Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones gets tackled into the cage by Pimpalaitis. Pimpalaitis maintains the clinch.

Pimpalaitis manages to break the clinch.
Jones scores with a jab.

It looks like Leopoldas Pimpalaitis has been cut.
Jones tries to bum rush Pimpalaitis with a series of wild strikes but Pimpalaitis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pimpalaitis fails with the takedown.
Jones scores with a nice body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones blocks a head kick by Pimpalaitis.
Jones quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Pimpalaitis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pimpalaitis misses with a takedown attempt
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Jack Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leopoldas Pimpalaitis.
Jones moves out of range as Pimpalaitis throws a body kick.

Jones drives through and clinches with Pimpalaitis against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Pimpalaitis.
Pimpalaitis struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.

Pimpalaitis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jones drops Pimpalaitis with a beautiful combination! Pimpalaitis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jones is looking for the KO!

Pimpalaitis is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pimpalaitis shoots in but no luck this time.
Pimpalaitis is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
