Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rakin Schmoe (ranked 24716 p4p, 4375 weight class) and Trevor Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmoe's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Callum Scott - Dancing on My Own. The crowd seem to be enjoying Love's choice of entrance music: Heart Crusher. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Love throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Schmoe tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Love is in Schmoe's guard.
Love not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Love stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Schmoe wants to clinch but Love slips to the side
and Love counters with a single leg into guard. Schmoe didn't expect that.
Schmoe is trying to control the position but Love postures up.
Schmoe wants to stand but Love is controlling the position.
Love trying to control but Schmoe is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Love pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schmoe is keeping the position for now.

Love won't allow Schmoe to sweep him here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Love accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Love controlling from the top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Schmoe fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Love to the ground. Schmoe is now in Love's guard.
Love tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Schmoe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Love is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Love working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schmoe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Schmoe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Hilo inform us that Love has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Love is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Love bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Schmoe's guard.
Love passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Love is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Schmoe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Love is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Schmoe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Schmoe tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Love wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Schmoe is working hard here to advance position.
Love has hold of Schmoe's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Schmoe seems comfortable defending it but Love has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Schmoe is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Schmoe is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Love couldn't care less - he's delighted!
