The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemos takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Lemos keeps the fight on the outside.
Lemos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Lemos.
Lemos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jackson walks away with a smile on his face. Lemos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lemos connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jackson's hands.
Lemos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jackson tries to clinch but Lemos moves out of range.
Lemos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes.

Jackson takes the fight into the clinch.
Lemos tries to pull guard but Jackson holds him up against the cage and eventually Lemos drops back down to his feet.

Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Lemos in a clinch.
Jackson blocks an elbow strike.
Lemos jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Lemos around his waist. Lemos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lemos jumps guard and drags Jackson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Lemos pulls Jackson in close to his closed guard and prevents Jackson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jackson is looking to stand up but Lemos won't let him.
Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lemos wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson wants to get up but he can't break Lemos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lemos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
