Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Falco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Medeiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Medeiros has chosen Liberate as his entrance music. Sean Falco has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sean Falco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Medeiros!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falco shoots in but no luck this time.

Medeiros drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Falco is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Medeiros decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Medeiros forces Falco back against the cage and clinches.
Falco tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Medeiros gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Falco.

Medeiros is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Falco doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Medeiros.

Medeiros postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Falco to stand up.

so Medeiros counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Falco is breathing heavily.

Medeiros really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Falco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Medeiros gets to his feet. Falco looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Medeiros closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Falco tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Medeiros smiles and moves away.

Medeiros not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Medeiros's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Medeiros wants to control from the top but Falco keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Medeiros lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Medeiros wanted to stand there but Falco had control of the position.

Falco has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Medeiros can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Medeiros tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Medeiros has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Falco doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Medeiros counters by clinching up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well Medeiros has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
