Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kareem Said!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Heart!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Said shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Heart's guard.
Heart is trying to control the position but Said postures up.
Said working some strikes from top position.
Said makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Heart manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Said regains half guard.
Heart wants to lay and pray for a moment but Said keeps working.
Said wants to improve his position but Heart is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heart trying to control from half guard but Said is working away.
Heart tries to pass the half guard into mount. Said knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Said is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Heart blocks the strikes from Said.
Said is looking to control Heart's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Said avoid being mounted?
Said tries to roll over but Heart keeps him under control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Heart misses with a head kick.
Said fails to land the takedown.

Said scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Heart avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Said.
Said landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Heart takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Said wants to lay and pray for a moment but Heart keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Said landing strikes.
Said postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Said misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Said looks up at the clock and then as Heart takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Said smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Said sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Heart is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Heart is trying to get back to half guard.
Said working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Heart takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Heart is rocked!
Said scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Heart is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Said can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
