The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagetti feints and as Santoria raises his hands in defense, Bagetti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santoria looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bagetti fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Santoria sprawls well initially but Bagetti persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
