The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saiyan Prince misses with an uppercut
and James counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Saiyan Prince rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and James counters with a straight right hand.
James with a body punch. A glancing blow.
James throws a looping overhand right but Saiyan Prince ducks down to avoid it.
James scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
James throws a hook to the side of Saiyan Prince's head but Saiyan Prince sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Saiyan Prince is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

It looks like Elmore James has been cut.

Saiyan Prince buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Saiyan Prince.

Despite the aggression on James's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
James sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Saiyan Prince lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and James goes down! The ref sends Saiyan Prince to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and James is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

James is rocked!
Vegeta Saiyan Prince seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Saiyan Prince slips a straight right by James.
James is still on wobbly legs! Can Saiyan Prince finish him?
Saiyan Prince gets cracked there but stands up to it.
James seems to have recovered his senses.
James stalks Saiyan Prince and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Saiyan Prince's face. Saiyan Prince staggers backwards, shaken.
James takes a swing at Saiyan Prince's ribcage but misses.
A little feinted left hand from Saiyan Prince on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Saiyan Prince is looking to slow James down with leg kicks.
Saiyan Prince has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That kick from Saiyan Prince tenderised James's leg. James is trying to keep his angry face on.

James drives through and clinches with Saiyan Prince against the ropes.

Saiyan Prince feints and then cracks James's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow James down.

Saiyan Prince works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Saiyan Prince scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops James to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

That has opened up Elmore James's cut even more.

Saiyan Prince catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! James stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? James walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

and Saiyan Prince counters with a beautiful hook that drops James to the mat! Will James be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Saiyan Prince to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and James is up. He looks OK to continue.
James misses with a double jab
and Saiyan Prince counters with a perfect left hook, dropping James to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!
