Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kulli Suuhun!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Izzy Fishet!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suuhun throws a body punch but Fishet moves out of range.

Suuhun fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fishet sprawls well initially but Suuhun persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Suuhun is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Suuhun is looking for a kimura but Fishet is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Suuhun to get the leverage.

Fishet looking for submissions off his back.

Fishet actively working from the bottom here.

Suuhun is trying to work for a kimura but Fishet is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Suuhun is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fishet sees it coming and defends easily.

Fishet is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Suuhun is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fishet avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Suuhun.
Suuhun seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fishet does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fishet looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Suuhun is working for an americana but Fishet has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Suuhun was thinking about the submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Fishet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Suuhun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Suuhun manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Suuhun wants to control from the top but Fishet keeps moving.

Fishet is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Fishet has his feet on Suuhun's thighs here. He's pushed Suuhun off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Suuhun screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
