Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Easy Ee (ranked 6400 p4p, 25293 weight class) and Kurt Span (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Easy Ee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kurt Span!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Span throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ee throws a right and a left that Span avoids nicely.
Span defending well as Ee loads up on a big left hand.
Ee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Span moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ee misses with a two punch combination.
A countering left hand to the body from Span misses.
Ee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Span tries to score with a low kick but Ee moves his leg out of the way.
No joy there for Ee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A thudding body kick lands there by Span!
Span slips a jab and a cross from Ee.
Ee avoids the head kick by Span.
Span fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ee swings widly with a right hand
and Span counters by clinching up.
Span pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ee scores with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Span swings for the body but Ee moves out of range.
Span throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Span shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ee eats them both and turns towards Span to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Span comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ee misses with a series of wild punches.
Span dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ee misses with a right hand
and Span counters with a series of strikes. Ee will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ee misses with a straight left.
Ee misses with a series of wild punches.
Ee checks the leg kick nicely there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Span slips a jab from Ee.
Ee catches Span with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ee works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ee misses with a straight right.
Ee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Span is rocked!
Ee looks to land a right hand but Span moved out of range.
Ee steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Span is out on his feet! Ee sets himself and nearly takes Span's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Easy Ee!
