The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nu Cuuuuutos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
James dodges the punch combination from Nu Cuuuuutos.
Nu Cuuuuutos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

It looks like Elmore James has been cut.

Nu Cuuuuutos has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

James has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nu Cuuuuutos is clearly trying to counter these attacks from James with a body shot.
James takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Nu Cuuuuutos lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A decent looking cross lands there for Nu Cuuuuutos.
James swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
OH! James has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Nu Cuuuuutos smells blood and charges in for the finish! Nu Cuuuuutos unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of James sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
