Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 3838 p4p, 2105 weight class) and Scott Thomas (ranked 508 p4p, 301 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Boytsov misses the target.
Boytsov tries for a takedown but Thomas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thomas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boytsov.

Boytsov catches Thomas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Thomas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boytsov was well out of range. Poor timing from Thomas.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boytsov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Boytsov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thomas is just riding it out for now. Boytsov eventually gives up the hold.

Boytsov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Thomas leaves Boytsov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Boytsov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Thomas has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boytsov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Thomas is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boytsov pulls down on the head and he's put Thomas to sleep! This one is all over!
