Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Lowenthal (ranked 5056 p4p, 5039 weight class) and Nuufo Seanoa (ranked 103 p4p, 104 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yuri Lowenthal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nuufo Seanoa!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Francis DeMontford and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seanoa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Seanoa slips a jab and a cross from Lowenthal.

Lowenthal gets a clinch.
Seanoa is trying to pull guard but Lowenthal has him pressed against the cage.

Seanoa breaks the clinch.

Lowenthal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Seanoa sprawls well initially but Lowenthal persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Seanoa is trying to escape back to his feet but Lowenthal uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Lowenthal wants to control but Seanoa is keeping him busy.
Seanoa is looking for a sweep.
Seanoa regains half guard.
Seanoa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lowenthal is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lowenthal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Seanoa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lowenthal throwing shots but Seanoa is blocking nicely.
Seanoa tries to roll over but Lowenthal keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nice strikes from Lowenthal there.
Seanoa gets full guard.
Seanoa has control of Lowenthal's left arm, preventing Lowenthal from doing any damage.
Lowenthal trying to control but Seanoa is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Seanoa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lowenthal gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Seanoa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Lowenthal wants to stand and escape but instead Seanoa has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Seanoa sitting in guard here, content to control.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yuri Lowenthal.
I think Lowenthal has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
