Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barrett closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackson did well to prevent Barrett getting side control.

Barrett is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Barrett leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Barrett tries to counter with a takedown but Jackson is quick to defend against it.
Jackson goes for a double leg but Barrett avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Barrett continues to drive forward.

Barrett drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jackson sprawls and moves away.
BJ Barrett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Jackson.

Barrett is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Barrett goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jackson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Barrett but great work by Jackson.

Jackson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Barrett, who protects the arm well.

Jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Barrett is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Barrett shows good takedown defense.

Barrett fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jackson to the ground. Barrett is now in Jackson's guard.

Jackson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jackson seems to have locked his on tight now - Barrett screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jackson, as he picks up the win!
