Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poodle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Serra Jr darts in looking for a takedown but Poodle gets double underhooks and turns Serra Jr into the cage.
Poodle darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Poodle stuffs the takedown.
Mister Poodle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Serra Jr.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Poodle. Serra Jr shrugs it off though.
Poodle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Serra Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Danga de danga de dang - Poodle scores with a four punch combination!
Poodle connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Serra Jr momentarily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Poodle.
Serra Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Poodle, looking for a takedown. Serra Jr pushes Poodle against the cage but Poodle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Poodle tries to counter with a takedown but Serra Jr is quick to defend against it.
Poodle throws a leg kick which misses Serra Jr's front leg but catches the back leg as Serra Jr tries to avoid it.

and Poodle counters with a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd cheers as Poodle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Serra Jr doesn't seem phased though.
Matt Serra Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Serra Jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Poodle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Serra Jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Poodle slaps away a takedown attempt from Serra Jr, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Serra Jr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Poodle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Poodle moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Poodle drops Serra Jr with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Serra Jr! Poodle dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
