The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matter lands a right hook to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Matter.
Left hook, right uppercut from Matter.
Matter bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Burnside looks winded!
Burnside takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Burnside has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Burnside there as he acknowledges the shot.

That has opened up Michael Burnside's cut even more.
Matter with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Burnside on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matter cracks a nice hook into Burnside's ribs.
Matter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Burnside on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Matter is looking to slow Burnside down with leg kicks.
Matter jabs Burnside to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Matter lands with a good body shot.
Matter lands with an overhand left.
Matter scores with a leg kick.
Burnside takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Matter throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Burnside takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Matter lands the left hand.
A nice inside leg kick there by Matter. That's going to slow Burnside down.
Matter connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Burnside! He's out on his feet! Matter rushes in and drops Burnside with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
