Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgregor closes the distance and clinches.
Mcgregor jumps guard but Choi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Mcgregor manages to break the clinch.
Choi slaps away a takedown attempt from Mcgregor, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Choi lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Mcgregor throws a nice looking combination but Choi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mcgregor just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromChoi.

Mcgregor moves into the clinch.
Mcgregor is trying to pull guard but Choi has him pressed against the cage.
Joon Choi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conor Mcgregor.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcgregor tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mcgregor blocking some punches.
Choi swings wildly with an uppercut but Mcgregor uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Choi working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Choi gets underhooks to prevent Mcgregor's takedown attempt.
Choi keeps control of Mcgregor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mcgregor tries to pull guard but Choi forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Choi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mcgregor tries to pull guard but Choi holds him up against the cage and eventually Mcgregor drops back down to his feet.

Mcgregor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mcgregor moves into the clinch.

Mcgregor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcgregor misses with a takedown attempt

and Mcgregor is countered with a crisp right hand from Choi that sends him to the canvas! Choi follows him to the mat into side control.

Mcgregor is rocked!

It looks like Conor Mcgregor has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Choi stands up and beckons Mcgregor to his feet.
Mcgregor is still on wobbly legs! Can Choi finish him?
Mcgregor shoots for a takedown but Choi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Choi is looking to counter with head kicks.

Mcgregor moves into range and clinches up with Choi.
Choi misses with some punches.
Mcgregor is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Choi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Mcgregor looks winded!
Mcgregor has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Choi after a bit of a struggle.
Choi lands a big right hand that drops Mcgregor! The killer instinct kicks in and Choi finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Choi!
