The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garner is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rip sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rip loads up on a big right hand but Garner slips the punch.
Garner fails to land the takedown.
A little jabbing left from Rip on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rip throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Garner sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Garner tries to close the distance and clinch but Rip swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rip misses the jab.
Rip throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Ryan Garner has been cut.
Garner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Garner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rip throws a lazy right hand but Garner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rip is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Garner is holding his hands too far apart here. Rip throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Garner is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
