PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brent Squires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vin Seppala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vin Seppala was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brent Squires!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vin Seppala!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squires shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Seppala but Seppala pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That was a close round but I would say that Brent Squires will probably get the nod.

Seppala has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Squires finds it's way round the side to connect with Seppala's head.
