The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddle walks into a straight right hand from Kovacs.
Kovacs lands an overhand right.
Kovacs throws a hook to the side of Riddle's head but Riddle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A low kick from Riddle is predictable there
and Kovacs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Andor Kovacs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kovacs works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Riddle isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kovacs stacks Riddle on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kovacs!

Riddle is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kovacs off and has taken his back!
Riddle is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kovacs has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Kovacs closes the distance and pushes Riddle back into the cage.

Kovacs cracks Riddle with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kovacs bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Riddle moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Riddle is breathing heavily.

Kovacs tried to counter with a leg kick but Riddle avoided it.
Kovacs lands a big right hand that sends Riddle crashing to the mat! Kovacs stays standing though and waves Riddle back to his feet!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kovacs lands with a right and another and another! Riddle is in big trouble! Kovacs lands again and this time it's lights out for Riddle! A quality knockout there for Kovacs.

Andor Kovacs decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
