The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vetorwee with a poor takedown
and Abarai counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Abarai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vetorwee shoots in but no luck this time.
Renji Abarai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mawvin Vetorwee.

We've been told by Abarai's head coaches at Hardman MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A jab from Abarai finds it's way through Vetorwee's defenses.
Vetorwee has his takedown stuffed
and Abarai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Abarai is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Vetorwee looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Abarai fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Vetorwee is out of range.

Vetorwee closes the distance and clinches up with Abarai, looking for a takedown. Vetorwee pushes Abarai against the cage but Abarai circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vetorwee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
It looked like Abarai wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vetorwee.
Abarai fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

and Abarai counters with a crisp one two that drops Vetorwee! Abarai thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vetorwee to his feet! Vetorwee is in big trouble!

Vetorwee is rocked!
Abarai scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vetorwee doesn't seem bothered though.
Vetorwee is still on wobbly legs! Can Abarai finish him?
Vetorwee looks winded!
Vetorwee switches off momentarily and Abarai cracks him with a monster right hand! Vetorwee topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Abarai dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Abarai!

An out of breath Renji Abarai thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Mawvin Vetorwee spoke after the fight, saying 'I'd check ova ya shouldah kid'.
