The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Atkins drops Der Ley with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Der Ley looks back up at him and smiles so Atkins waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Atkins feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Der Ley sprawling to the canvas! Der Ley rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Atkins finish him?!

It looks like Van Der Ley has been cut.
Atkins looks for the body kick but Der Ley saw that one coming.
Der Ley moves out of range as Atkins strikes.
Atkins ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Der Ley's jaw. Der Ley's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Atkins does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
