Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks darts in looking for a takedown but Takamura gets double underhooks and turns Banks into the cage.
Takamura can't get the takedown.
Banks gets underhooks to prevent Takamura's takedown attempt.
Banks wants a takedown but no success here.

Banks has clasped his hands together around Takamura's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Banks goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Takamura rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Banks's guard! Nice work there by Takamura!

It looks like Takamura might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Takamura has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Banks has managed to get both his arms back between Takamura's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
