Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Till (ranked 3957 p4p, 3160 weight class) and Lucas Kuas (ranked 545 p4p, 454 weight class). Jack Till could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lucas Kuas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Till!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lucas Kuas!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Till throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kuas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Till is in Kuas's guard.
Kuas manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Kuas's coach down at Walter J Abramowitz Center for Bigness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kuas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kuas jumps guard and drags Till to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kuas is trying to control the position but Till postures up.
Till distracts Kuas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Kuas tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Till has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Kuas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Till doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Till manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Till's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Till is working Kuas over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Till looking to sit in guard and control but Kuas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kuas wants to control from the top but Till keeps moving.

Kuas wants to pass the guard but Till is keeping the position.
Till throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Kuas stands and throws Till's legs to the side, diving into side control.

A close round but Lucas Kuas will probably get the nod.
That's time! Till's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A combination from Till does no damage.
Kuas unleashes a big counter combination but Till bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kuas, as that shot connected.
Till fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Till manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kuas on his heels. He'll look to pass Kuas's guard now, I'm sure.
Kuas manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Kuas slips under a jab from Till.
Kuas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Till sprawls well. Till wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kuas gets slowly back to his feet.
Till misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Till bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Till wants to control but Kuas is keeping him busy.
Till cracks Kuas with a big elbow.

Kuas manages to get back to half guard.
Kuas has hold of Till's hands but Till slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Till is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kuas sees it coming and defends easily.
Till looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Kuas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Till seems to be working for a kimura but Kuas defends the submission attempt.
Till is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Till landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Kuas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kuas gets full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kuas is on top in guard.
Kuas controls from within his opponent's guard.
Kuas wants to control from the top but Till keeps moving.

Kuas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Till, up you get!
Kuas shoots in and drives through. Till sprawls well.
Kuas shoots in looking for a takedown. Till tries to sprawl out of it but Kuas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Till manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jack Till has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Kuas.

Kuas wants to clinch up but Till keeps it at a distance.

Till shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kuas but Kuas pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kuas tightens his grip and picks Till up, before dumping him to the ground. Till manages to land in guard.

Till has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kuas off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Till darts in looking for a takedown but Kuas gets double underhooks and turns Till into the cage.
Kuas drops down looking for an ankle pick but Till pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kuas misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Till throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kuas was covering up waiting for the punch and Till finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kuas seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Till is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Lucas Kuas thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
