And Marques tries to counter it with a takedown but Davidyan pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Davidyan clinches up against the cage.
Davidyan can't find room to land a body shot as Marques controls the action.
Davidyan lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Davidyan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Marques's elbow.
Marques prevents a body shot from Davidyan.
Marques has Davidyan pressed against the cage.
Marques tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davidyan lands a body punch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Marques has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters circling - Davidyan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Davidyan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Davidyan closes the distance looking to clinch
and Marques counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A swing and a miss from Davidyan.
Davidyan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Davidyan tries to clinch but Marques moves out of range.
Davidyan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Marques closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Marques shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davidyan's guard.

Davidyan pushes Marques off and gets back to his feet.
Davidyan throws a quick head kick that knocks Marques silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Davidyan is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
