Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Holmes Jr (ranked 602 p4p, 344 weight class) and Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 92 p4p, 58 weight class). Holmes Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Red - Damage. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomi Tsuruta!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Tsuruta.
Tsuruta throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Holmes Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Holmes Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tsuruta has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tsuruta throws a right hand that Holmes Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Holmes Jr also avoids with ease.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tsuruta checks a leg kick.

and Tsuruta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Holmes Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tsuruta is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Tomomi Tsuruta comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
