The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryan throws a front kick aimed at Poodle's knee but Poodle avoids it well.
Bryan blocks a leg kick.

Bryan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Poodle tries to roll over but Bryan keeps him under control.

Bryan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Poodle sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bryan throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Poodle to regain full guard.
Bryan tries to free his leg and advance position but Poodle is retaining full guard.

Bryan content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Poodle has locked up a guillotine! Poodle's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Bryan is holding on here and Poodle must be using up a lot of energy. Bryan has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Poodle gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
