Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Creighton (ranked 25139 p4p, 4362 weight class) and Jaguar Jones (ranked 299 p4p, 221 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Creighton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaguar Jones!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Creighton lands but Jones takes it in his stride.
Jones looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Creighton moves into the clinch.
Creighton is pushing Jones up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Creighton has hold of one of Jones's legs. Jones is fighting the takedown attempt but Creighton gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Jones is looking for a triangle but Creighton pushes his legs off easily.

Creighton postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Creighton, into his guard.

Creighton wants to sweep but no luck.

Jones wants to control from the top but Creighton keeps moving.

Creighton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Creighton looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.
Creighton pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage.

Creighton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jones advances position into side control!
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Creighton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Creighton is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.

Creighton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Creighton is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jones asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A close round but Jaguar Jones will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Creighton has Jones up against the cage in a clinch.
Creighton tries to land a knee to the head but Jones blocks with his arms.
Creighton trying to control the position but instead, Jones has worked for underhooks and has pushed Creighton into the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Creighton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Creighton is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jones's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Jones is nestled in close to Creighton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jones is looking for a kimura but Creighton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage.

Creighton regains full guard. Nicely done.

Creighton looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Creighton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Creighton can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Creighton is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jones looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Creighton looks like he's trying to stand up.

Jones is working for a submission of some sort.

Creighton is trying to get back to full guard.

Jaguar Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Creighton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Creighton as he jumps to the side.
Kevin Creighton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Both fighters circling a little - Creighton finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
Kevin Creighton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaguar Jones.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
