Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Taurus (ranked 1403 p4p, 1412 weight class) and Liam Walker (ranked 207 p4p, 208 weight class). Taurus comes to the cage accompanied by Country Boy - Aaron Lewis. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liam Walker!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taurus's corner calls for a 1-2. Taurus obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Walker on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Walker ducks under a wild hook from Taurus.
Walker gets the takedown into side control.
Taurus sneaks out the side door and pushes Walker away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Walker misses the jab.

Taurus lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Taurus lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Liam Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker looks to score with a jab to the body but Taurus is just out of range.
Taurus fires out a quick counter leg kick but Walker just manages to avoid it.

Taurus pivots, looking for a leg kick but Walker is out of range and Taurus settles back down.

Walker lands a glancing blow to the side of Taurus's head.

Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Walker fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Taurus checks it well.
As Walker backs away, Taurus returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

and Taurus counters with a nice uppercut.
Walker swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Taurus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Walker tries for a takedown but Taurus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Walker cracks Taurus with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Walker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Taurus counters with a low kick, right behind Walker 's knee.
Taurus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Walker.
Taurus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walker.
Taurus throws a wild body kick that Walker sees coming a mile off.
Nice defenses there by Walker.
Walker will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A punch lands to the side of Taurus 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Walker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Taurus circles away quickly and effectively.
Walker pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Taurus back to the cage. Walker follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Walker moves into range and connects with a jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Taurus.
Walker takes a swing at Taurus's ribcage but misses.
Crunch! Taurus slams his shin into Walker's torso.

Walker throws a good cross that connects.

Walker is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Taurus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Walker.

Walker is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Walker shoots in for a double leg but Taurus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sloppy strikes from Walker. Those never looked like landing.

Walker doesn't manage to clinch there - Taurus circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taurus scores with the left hand. Walker knows he should have avoided that one.
Walker shoots for a double leg takedown but Taurus sprawls well. He's pushed Walker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Taurus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Walker is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Walker looks to throw the jab but Taurus is out of range.
Taurus throws a half hearted mid kick.
Walker tries to bum rush Taurus with a series of wild strikes but Taurus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Taurus slips under a jab.
Taurus swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Walker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Walker throws a big shot that misses.
Walker takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Walker is rocked!
Taurus cracks Walker's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Walker slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Taurus can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Wesley Taurus bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
