Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rimtas Kentas (ranked 1637 p4p, 23209 weight class) and Ginger Lee (ranked 214 p4p, 659 weight class). Lee has chosen The Red as his entrance music. Ginger Lee has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rimtas Kentas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ginger Lee!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kentas shoots in and bounces Lee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kentas wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.

Kentas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kentas wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
Kentas wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kentas is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kentas slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kentas is trying to get an arm triangle but Lee is defending well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kentas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there.

The referee asks Kentas politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kentas prefers to stall for the moment though.
Lee is looking to regain half guard here but Kentas keeps moving and retains side control.

Kentas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kentas goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lee rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kentas's guard! Nice work there by Lee!
Lee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lee passes Kentas's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kentas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kentas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lee throws a hook to the side of Kentas's head but Kentas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kentas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.
Kentas shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Lee drops Kentas with a beautiful combination! Kentas stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lee is looking for the KO!

It looks like Rimtas Kentas has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kentas moves out of range as Lee strikes.
Kentas avoids the body shot from Lee.
Kentas shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rimtas Kentas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kentas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kentas has hold of Lee's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lee seems comfortable defending it but Kentas has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lee is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lee is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kentas couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rimtas Kentas!
Rimtas Kentas decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
