Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tomohiro Tanahashi (ranked 733 p4p, 705 weight class) and Ruslan Danilov (ranked 105 p4p, 98 weight class). Tanahashi comes to the cage accompanied by Love & Energy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Danilov misses.
It looked like Tanahashi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Danilov.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Danilov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tanahashi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Danilov is looking to take a break and control but Tanahashi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tanahashi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Danilov has just dragged him back down to the mat.
