Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Niska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harley King!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King cracks a nice hook into Niska's ribs.
King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Niska manages to avoid it.
Jab by King.
King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Niska.
King swings for the body but Niska moves out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! King crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Niska - the referee stops the clock and King gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Niska. King manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
King throws a head kick but Niska moves out of range.
King throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Niska counters with a stiff right hand.
Niska lands a head shot.
King misses with an uppercut. Niska saw that one coming.
Niska throwing a counter right hand but King manages to avoid it.
King throws a hook but Niska avoids it easily.
King misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Niska.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick by King misses
and Niska counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
King just misses with a punch to the body.
Niska cracks King with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The fighters circling - King throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Niska connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.
King throws a lazy right hand but Niska sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Niska closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. King quickly recovers to half guard.

Niska seems to be working for a kimura but King defends the submission attempt.
King wants to get back to his feet.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Niska lands a head shot.
King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Niska attempts a counter takedown but King avoids it well and moves away.
A jab from King misses.
Niska misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
King swings widly with a right hand
and Niska counters with a nice kick to the body.
Niska avoids the body shot from King.
King just misses with a punch to the body.
Niska connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
King goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Juha Niska has been cut.
Niska has been working on his balance at IMMAC Training Facility™, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by King.

King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Niska.
King loads up on a big right hand but Niska slips the punch.

Niska paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
King misses with a few strikes there.
Niska scores with a decent looking hook.
King uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Niska has time to react.

A little feinted left hand from Niska on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Niska is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Niska thows a body kick. King tries to catch it but that hurt him.
King swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Niska counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps King thinking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King throws a body shot but no joy.
Niska on the wrong end of a nice jab.
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
King looks winded!
King needs to keep his hands up - Niska had a free shot at his head there.
King takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

A jab from Niska does it's job there.
Harley King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Niska darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nice uppercut there from King.
Niska ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
King swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Niska counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice defenses there by Niska.
Niska blocks a jab.
Decent striking displayed by Niska there.
Niska moves out of range as King strikes.
King takes one to the chin there.

Niska closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. King did well to prevent Niska getting side control.

King is rocked!

Niska is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and King defends it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
King is refusing to be controlled, as Niska sits in half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Niska lunges at King with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by King's hand.
King loads up on a big right hand but Niska slips the punch.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
King throws an off balance right hand
and Niska makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
King misses the shot to the body.
Niska is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that King can do to turn this around?
King misses with a straight left.
Niska swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
King on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Niska. Niska obviously looking to wear him down.
King lands a jab.
Niska connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
King misses with a body punch
and King takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
King takes a swing at Niska's ribcage but misses.
King throws a good cross that connects.
Niska jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
King is still on wobbly legs! Can Niska finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Niska counters with a huge left! King is in big trouble! He's backing up but Niska isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save King from any more damage. A dominating finish by Niska!

In his post fight interview, Juha Niska started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
