The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Trojan.
Dias tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Trojan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Dias is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Dias knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trojan on the ground.
Trojan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Trojan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dias tries to lock up and control but Trojan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dias slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Trojan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dias defends it well.

Trojan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dias is trying to maintain the position but Trojan is very close to passing his half guard.

Trojan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dias keeps working.

Dias kicks off Trojan and gets to his feet.

Dias shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dias showed some decent athleticism there.

Trojan is staying active underneath Dias, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Trojan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Trojan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dias gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Trojan throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Trojan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dias is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Trojan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dias's back instead.

Trojan sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Dias taps out!
