The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joukani misses with a body kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lentz! But no joy.
Lentz moves out of range as Joukani strikes.
Joukani looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lentz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Joukani.
Joukani takes a swing at Lentz's ribcage but misses.
Joukani lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
No joy there for Lentz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Joukani throws a right hand that Lentz ducks under and follows up with a left that Lentz also avoids with ease.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nice straight punches there by Joukani. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Joukani.
Joukani takes one to the chin there.
Joukani keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Joukani fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lentz.
Joukani checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lentz throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Lentz throws an overhand right that lands on Joukani's shoulder, as Joukani tries to avoid the shot.
Lentz takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Joukani pushes Lentz away with a front kick.
Joukani goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Joukani throws a lazy body kick
and Lentz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Joukani missing with a left hand there. Lentz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Joukani misses with an uppercut
and Lentz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lentz cracks Joukani with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Joukani moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Leon Lentz has been cut.
Lentz pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Joukani throws a jab when Lentz was well out of range.
A countering left hand to the body from Lentz misses.
Joukani misses with an attempted mid kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Joukani scores with a four punch combination!
Joukani scores with a sloppy right hand. Lentz should have avoided that one.
Joukani throws a head kick that half lands.

Joukani throws a hook but Lentz blocks it.
Joukani swings widly with a right hand
and Lentz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Joukani misses with a few strikes there.
Joukani connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Lentz tumbling to the canvas! Joukani pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Lentz was done - good stoppage!

Rou Joukani was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
