Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramiro Escandon (ranked 4817 p4p, 6109 weight class) and Naser Oric (ranked 0 p4p, 596 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramiro Escandon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Naser Oric!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escandon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oric as he jumps to the side.
Escandon connects with a body shot.
Oric scores with a crisp jab that stopped Escandon in his tracks.
Oric lands a nice shot to the body.
Oric connects with a jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oric drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Escandon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Oric has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Escandon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oric lands a body shot.
Escandon throws a lazy uppercut
and Oric counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oric looks to score with a jab to the body but Escandon is just out of range.
Escandon tries for a takedown but Oric circles away easily
and Oric counters with a nice uppercut.
Escandon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ramiro Escandon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice defenses there by Escandon.
Horrible takedown attempt by Escandon or perhaps it was just good defense by Oric, which made it look bad.
A left lands for Oric.
Oric scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Escandon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Oric counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oric waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Escandon. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Escandon to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Escandon is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oric decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Oh Escandon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Escandon gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Oric gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Naser Oric!
A relieved looking Naser Oric thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
