The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reincarneited throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Reincarneited rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Helio Reincarneited seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reincarneited feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reincarneited is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Reincarneited eventually gives up the hold.
Reincarneited throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Silva is not content to let Reincarneited control the position.
Reincarneited has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A right-left combo lands from Reincarneited.
Reincarneited jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nice uppercut lands for Reincarneited. That snapped Silva's head back.
Reincarneited shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.
Reincarneited throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Reincarneited throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reincarneited off to one side.
A head kick lands from Silva that sends Reincarneited to the canvas. Reincarneited tries to scramble back to his feet but Silva brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Helio Reincarneited has been cut.

Silva is looking to take a break and control but Reincarneited is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reincarneited tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reincarneited is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I wouldn't like to be where Reincarneited is right now.
Reincarneited is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Reincarneited gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reincarneited does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Reincarneited is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Reincarneited is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Silva is sitting in close to Reincarneited's body. Reincarneited has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Silva is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Silva is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Reincarneited.
