Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jantje Beton (ranked 2529 p4p, 2600 weight class) and Pinina Zhikova (ranked 337 p4p, 343 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jantje Beton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pinina Zhikova!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhikova avoids the body shot from Beton.
Zhikova drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Beton controls Zhikova momentarily but Zhikova frees himself.
Zhikova's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Let's hope that Zhikova has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Zhikova might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Beton is looking to clinch but Zhikova is avoiding it.

Zhikova shoots in for a takedown but Beton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Pinina Zhikova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zhikova is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Beton has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zhikova tries to pass the half guard into mount. Beton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Beton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Beton tries to get out of the position.

Zhikova looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That was a close round but I would say that Jantje Beton will probably get the nod.
That's time! Beton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Zhikova has an Americana. Beton didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Zhikova is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Zhikova hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A very excited looking Pinina Zhikova made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
