Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bosque Trabuco (ranked 4178 p4p, 25191 weight class) and Johnny Tanner (ranked 476 p4p, 634 weight class). Johnny Tanner is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trabuco instigates a clinch.
Tanner is trying to stall.
Trabuco wants to take the fight to the mat but Tanner manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Tanner changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Trabuco fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Trabuco has Tanner up against the cage in a clinch.
Tanner misses with a body punch.
Trabuco creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tanner's defenses.
Tanner takes an elbow to the forehead.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Trabuco turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Trabuco manages to end up in side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Trabuco tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Trabuco has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Trabuco lands an elbow.

Tanner takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Trabuco lands a nice forearm strike.

Tanner is rocked!
Trabuco moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Tanner is still in real trouble! Can Trabuco finish him?
Trabuco cracks Tanner with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Trabuco immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Tanner is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Trabuco!
