Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Mendoza (ranked 3408 p4p, 3366 weight class) and Matt Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 427 weight class). Hector Mendoza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Mendoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Morgan!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Morgan swivels and escapes.
Mendoza throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease.
Mendoza moves into the clinch successfully.
Morgan wants to stall.
Morgan tries to break free but Mendoza pushes him back against the cage.
Mendoza is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mendoza is pressed up against the cage. Morgan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mendoza down to the mat. Mendoza avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Morgan gets the takedown into side control.
Morgan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Morgan trying to control the action but Mendoza is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mendoza can't do much from the bottom here.
Mendoza is looking to regain half guard here but Morgan keeps moving and retains side control.

Morgan wants to control but Mendoza is keeping him busy.
Mendoza is trying to control Morgan's posture but Morgan avoids it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mendoza throws Morgan to one side and escapes!
Mendoza digs a good body shot into Morgan's ribs.

Mendoza closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morgan quickly recovers to half guard.

Morgan is looking for a sweep. Mendoza is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mendoza seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Morgan tries to kick Mendoza off but Mendoza keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Morgan is pressing down on Mendoza's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mendoza not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mendoza stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Mendoza pushes Morgan up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A frustrated look appears on Morgan's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Mendoza jumps guard and drags Morgan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Morgan wants to control from the top but Mendoza keeps moving.
Mendoza wants to sweep here but Morgan controlling him for the moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Morgan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A bit of stalling here from Morgan.

Mendoza throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Morgan throws an elbow that misses. Mendoza uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Morgan's guard. Nice move by Mendoza!
Morgan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Morgan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mendoza manages to pass to side control.
Mendoza is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morgan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mendoza seems to be looking for submissions.

Morgan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Morgan wants to get back to his feet.
Mendoza wants to take a breather but Morgan is having none of it.
Mendoza is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Morgan can do to turn this around?

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

A thudding body kick lands there by Mendoza!
Morgan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Morgan steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mendoza.
Morgan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Mendoza closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Morgan to the mat! Morgan manages to get full guard.
Morgan pulls Mendoza in close to prevent any damage.
Morgan is breathing heavily.
Mendoza trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mendoza passes into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Morgan trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Mendoza manages to pass to mount!

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Morgan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Morgan with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mendoza counters with a stiff right hand.
Mendoza circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Morgan drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Mendoza follows Morgan to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Mendoza!
A less than humble Hector Mendoza misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
