Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Doesnt Matter (ranked 24993 p4p, 6088 weight class) and Jack Money (ranked 533 p4p, 458 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Money!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matter shoots in for a takedown but Money shows good takedown defense.
Money appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Doesnt Matter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Money darts in and clinches Matter up against the cage.
Money pushes Matter back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Money breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Matter tries to score a body lock takedown but Money shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Money pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Matter on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Money. Money obviously looking to wear him down.
Matter shoots in for a takedown but Money shows good takedown defense.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Money! But no joy.
Matter throws a half hearted mid kick.
Money scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Money with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Matter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Matter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Money but Money pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Matter moves into the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

No joy there for Money, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Matter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Money was covering up waiting for the punch and Matter finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Money working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Matter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Matter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

I was talking to Matter's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Jack Money showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jack Money is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

It looks like Doesnt Matter has been cut.

Oh Matter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jack Money comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Money has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
