Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kennedy Samuels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carlos Chaos!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuels throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Chaos fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Samuels avoids it really well and circles away.
Samuels leaves Chaos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chaos fails with the takedown.
Kennedy Samuels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Chaos.
Chaos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Samuels swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Samuels shoots in and gets a takedown into Chaos's guard.
Chaos wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Samuels manages to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Samuels is nestled in close to Chaos, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Samuels stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Chaos to get to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Chaos moves into the clinch successfully.
Samuels working hard to break the clinch.
Chaos with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Chaos stalling.
Chaos creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Samuels is looking for a takedown.
Chaos is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Samuels is defending well.

Samuels pulls guard effortlessly.
Samuels controlling Chaos's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chaos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Samuels has his feet on Chaos's thighs here. He's pushed Chaos off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Chaos screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
