The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inazuma is looking to land body kicks.

Ma closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Inazuma did well to prevent Ma getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ma seems to be looking for submissions.

Ma is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Inazuma sees it coming and defends easily.

Ma seems to be working for a kimura but Inazuma defends the submission attempt.

Ma tries to pass the half guard into mount. Inazuma knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

I really don't envy Inazuma right now.
Ma lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Ma is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Inazuma has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
